Belisario Domínguez 72, Centro; 5526 5276. Meseros amables y, cosa rara, garroteros igual de amables. Para ellos no existe el “no se puede” o “no lo tenemos”. Son genuinamente considerados. Y la comida es muy rica.
El Bajío
Cuitláhuac casi esquina con Clavería, Azcapotzalco; 5234 3763; carnitaselbajio.com.mx. Meseros sonrientes, simpáticos, dispuestos y sobre todo informados. Dan ganas de invitarlos a sentarse a la mesa, sobre todo después de que te explican cómo preparan el mole entre todos. La gerente de esta sede, que es la matriz, es particularmente atenta.
Taxi Ret
8590 6720. Servicio de taxis híper confiable. Puntuales y honrados. Llegan a cualquier parte de la ciudad. Taxímetro más 10 pesos, y de noche taxímetro más 20 pesos. Recomendable dejarles propina.
La Mascota
Bolívar esq. Mesones, Centro. Comida de seis tiempos, las veces que quieras repetir. Hay que dejarle propina al mesero, por las bebidas, y también al garrotero, por la comida. Te tratan tan bien que no te queda de otra. Uno sale lleno y contento.
Nunca En Domingo
Fernando Montes de Oca casi esquina con Tamaulipas, Condesa. Barbería abierta todos los días, excepto… el domingo. Don Elías lleva décadas en el mismo local, por lo que ha visto las diferentes transformaciones de la Condesa. Muy platicador. Tiene cerca de 80 años, pero un pulso admirable. Y es barato. 70 por la barba y 70 por el pelo. Bien vale la pena dejarle los 200.
Casa Rosalía
Eje Central casi esquina con República de Uruguay, Centro. Un abundante menú de comida asturiana por menos de 200 pesos. Recomiendo a las meseras del tercer nivel, son más agradables y siempre están al pendiente de que no te falte nada. Son súper lindas y hay una, con las cejas pintadas, que es mi favorita.
Viena
República de Cuba casi esquina con Eje Central, Centro. Cantina gay, recientemente remodelada. Don Herminio, en la barra, es comprensivo y especialmente empático con los clientes que tienen el corazón roto.
Starbucks
Horacio 326 (Plaza Cantera), Polanco. Amigables, platicadores y animosos. Que alguien les dé un premio pronto. O tú una buena propina.
Mercaderes
5 de Mayo, muy cerca del Zócalo, Centro. Además de la excelente cava, la atención por parte del personal es buenísimo. Es un lugar caro, pero lo vale.
Barracuda Diner
Nuevo León 4, Condesa. Recomiendo la hamburguesa MX. Hay algunos meseros que llevan tiempo aquí, saludan a los clientes habituales, son entusiastas y veloces, y el gerente siempre está presente. Los garroteros muy atentos.
Café El Popular
5 de Mayo, Centro. Al principio las meseras parecen groseras, hay que decirlo, pero conforme uno les toma confianza se van suavizando hasta llegar al punto en el que te dicen cosas como: “sí, mi amor”, “claro, papacito” y “qué gusto verte, cariño”.
Sanborns de los Azulejos
Madero, Centro. Las meseras son las más lindas de la ciudad. En serio. Sobre todo las de la parte trasera, en las barras. Dan ganas de llevárselas a la casa para que se conviertan en tus nuevas tías. También ellas te dicen “mi amor”, “mi vida”, “papacito” y demás. Súper cariñosas y dispuestas.
Fly
Orizaba, casi en al plaza Luis Cabrera, Roma. Meseras simpáticas, platicadoras y veloces. Este bar antes se llamaba Red Fly.
Casa de Chatarra
República de Perú esquina Allende, Centro. No es un museo, pero casi. Se trata del hogar de una persona que ha acumulado chatarra y ha decidido exhibirla. No hay cuota de recuperación, pero se recomienda una propina. Bien vale la pena.
